Dr. Ralph P. Tufano, Medical Director of Head and Neck Endocrine Surgery, is a world renowned thyroid and parathyroid surgeon who specializes in the management of hyperparathyroidism, thyroid nodules, early, advanced and recurrent thyroid cancers, neck lymph node metastases, goiter and Graves’ disease. His expertise and novel treatment techniques for thyroid and parathyroid diseases have helped personalize treatment and improve surgical outcomes for patients with these conditions.

Dr. Tufano performs the full complement of thyroid and parathyroid surgical techniques with a focus on developing and delivering the best treatment for each patient. He and his team developed the now internationally established approach for scarless transoral thyroidectomy and parathyroid surgery.
